Myra Granato, BA
Rotation Student
Myra Granato grew up in Philadelphia and graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2022 with a B.A. in Behavioral Biology and a minor in Psychology. She performed her undergraduate research in the lab of Dr. Michael Hart at the University of Pennsylvania, where she screened mutations in autism spectrum associated orthologs in C. elegans. After graduating, Myra worked as a research assistant in the lab of Dr. Marc Fuccillo at the University of Pennsylvania, where she investigated the neural circuits involved in behaviors relating to obsessive-compulsive disorder. Myra joined the Neuroscience PhD program at NYU in 2024, and is broadly interested in sensorimotor transformation and motor control.
